Popular actor and folk singer Jayananda Lama have passed away.
Lama died after he fell down while getting out of a vehicle in front of his house.
Born in Bahrabise of Sindhupalchowk, Lama made his acting debut in the movie Man Ko Bandh in 1973.
He has acted in more than dozens of Nepali films including Chakka Panja and tele serials so far.
Lama sang many popular songs including ‘Kalakatte Kayeyo, Herdama Ramro, Mula Ko Chana and Salala Pani’.
