The total number of single-day infections from both the RT-PCR and antigen tests totals 10,258 in the last 24 hours in Nepal.
According to the Health Ministry, A total of 22,828 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours of which infection was detected in 44.9 %.
As per the latest data provided by the health ministry 17, 872 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours of which 8,730 tested positive pushing the nationwide infection tally to 868,215.
Similarly, 1,528 people tested positive in a total of 4,956 antigen tests.
The death toll reached 11,624 as one fatality was recorded today.
The total coronavirus recoveries stand at 817,547 as 562 of them recovered in the last 24 hours.
Nepal on Monday reported 5,747 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths.
