Prince of Saudi Arabia and Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud has arrived in Nepal.
Foreign Minister Prince Saud, who arrived in Nepal, was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bharatraj Paudel.
Foreign Minister Prince Saud, who arrived in Kathmandu for a two-day official visit, is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Minister Prince Saud arrived in the capital of Nepal from Sri Lanka on his private jet.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Prince Saud will formally start his visit by holding bilateral talks with Nepali Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Narayan Khadka.
Minister Khadka is hosting a luncheon on behalf of the Government of Nepal to the Saudi 23-member delegation including Foreign Minister Saud.
After meeting with the President and the Prime Minister, the Saudi delegation led by Foreign Minister Prince Saud will return home tomorrow.
Saudi Arabia is considered as a major destination for Nepali labor. It is estimated that there are more than four lakh Nepali citizens for labor.
